Mongolian Journal of Biological Sciences (ISSN 1684-3908 print edition; ISSN 2225-4994 online edition) is a peer-reviewed international journal, which publishes original articles that cover all aspects of biological sciences. In addition, review-type articles, notes from the field, short communications, anniversary notes, book reviews and reports of scientific meetings are also welcome. There are no restrictions on author and geographic region. The language of publication is English.
Papers are published Online First as they are accepted. Online First publishes accepted articles in electronic form prior to their appearance in the print version of the journal, eliminating the delay necessary for the completion of an entire issue. One or two print issues of the journal is published per year, containing all online publications from the preceding year.
Mongolian Journal of Biological Sciencesis now under free license, and the open-access articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Common Attribution License 3.0, which permits unrestricted non-commercial use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are credited
The journal is abstracted and indexed in BIOSIS Previews and Zoological Record.
